Cover FX, the complexion-focused makeup brand known for its inclusive shade ranges and skin-sensitive formulas, has officially closed.
WHO: Founded in 1999 by chemist Victor Casale and Lee Graff, Cover FX began in a Toronto medical clinic specializing in skin issues and sensitivities in 1999. The products were developed to treat and cover every skin type using clean ingredients, and garnered a loyal following among professional makeup artists, consumers, and the medical community. Cover FX has also established its CosMedic Clinics at several prestigious dermatology institutions throughout North America.
WHY: The brand cited “new challenges,” including “tariffs and a global shifting market” and shared that it will begin to “wind down business” on Instagram.
